Erv Lind Stadium

Erv Lind Stadium has been the home of softball in Portland since 1948.  The stadium was named in honor of Erv Lind in 1965.  A well-known local florist, he was also the coach and manager of Portland’s best known women’s softball team, the Erv Lind Florists, for 28 years, leading to two ASA national titles.  The Portland State Vikings called the stadium home for over 30 years.  They hosted and won the 1991 NCAA Division II West Regional.  On March 27, 2010, the Vikings hosted the defending national champion and top-ranked Washington Huskies for a doubleheader.  A crowd of 1,280 left no seat empty.  Now this iconic venue is ready to create more memories.
