It’ll be hard to beat the fun and excitement of Friday evening at Erv Lind Stadium, but we’re hoping to have even a better time tonight.

Friday night was an incredibly close game entering the bottom of the 7th inning. That’s when the Portland All/Stars rallied for eight runs and went on to a 13-1 victory.

Tonight is Breast Cancer Awareness Night and lots of folks from Pink Phoenix will be on hand. Pink Phoenix is a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower breast cancer survivors through the sport of dragon boating. They’ve sold tickets for tonight’s game as a fund raiser. Game time is 6:40 pm and the entry gate opens at 6:00 pm. Tickets are only $10 and available on line here. It’s always best to save time when you get to the game by purchasing your tickets in advance by credit or debit card. You’ll witness quite an athletic show put on by top college softball players. The Women’s Collegiate Softball League and the All-Star Softball Festival are presented by Beneficial State Bank and are all about women, opportunity and inclusion.

The Festival is also all about FUN. The evening will be fast-paced with games for young and old. The kids will enjoy the Blue Castle bounce house with a thrilling slide. And, you’ll have a chance to win big in the 50-50 Raffle with half of the proceeds going to the Pink Phoenix. Of course, you’ll find tantalizing food and cold drinks, from ball park hot dogs to scrumptious hamburgers and cheeseburgers, along with snacks, Coca-Cola products and a variety of beers to choose from. It’s CASH or VENMO for all of your purchases in the ball park. We look forward to seeing you and have you enjoy a nice evening at the ball park.
